I've recently had several power issues with computers, and I was wondering if there was a good product that I could get to do some testing on ATX Power supplies? specifically the most annoying issues are the borderline and intermitten problems.

I was wondering if there was a good testing product that would test all Rails of a PSU, as well as verify that it is able to put out somewhere near the rated power on each rail, as well as see how close it is to the 3,5, and 12 volt markers.

Trial and error seems to be a sucky way to deal with testing power supplies, just wondering if there is a better option.

Hmmm how often are you going to be testing PSU's?

If you are doing heaps it might be worthwhile getting something like what johnnyguru uses on his reviews www.johnnyguru.com but that kind of thing doesnt run cheap

There are various products out there that will do the job, however, do you really want to spend thousands of dollars on test equipment?
