I'm up 4.8 Million ISK.
I have 7 Ships. All Minmatar (My race).
3 Shuttles
* Starbug I
* Starbug II
* Starbug III
These are small, fast, cheap, weaponless runabouts. Basically to get
from one station to another without having to reposition my good
ships.
2 "Reaper" frigates.
* The n00b t00b
* Smegus Maximus' Reaper
These are just noob ships they give you when you have insurance and
have an insured ship blown out from under you.
1 "Rifter" frigate.
* Century Hawk (A rip off of Millennium Falcon)
This is a fighting frigate, which I have doubled down on shield
boosters. It has two missile launchers and two 280mm Howitzer
artillery cannons that I fire explosive titanium sabot rounds from.
1 "Thrasher" destroyer.
* Malleus
This is the third destroyer I've had ripped to shreds out from under
me. At a cost of 1 and one half million ISK a pop, it was painful to
be podded into space. Fortunately, I've learned the value of insurance
policies.
I'm working my way in both training and cash savings towards a Rupture
class battle cruiser (7.5 million ISK). After that, I think I'll start
trying to make larger sums via crafting ships myself and selling them
to others to be destroyed. So I'm going to have to buy a lot of
science and engineering courses in the game and pour time into
training those skills.
As it stands, I'll be able to give Miracle a goodly leg up when (if)
she first enters into the game.
And a bit of advice, Miracle, when you start choosing skills to train:
Three skills are most important initially; Learning, Instant Recall
and Analytical Mind. If you train up those skills to at least level 3,
it will knock DAYS off later training. It's slow at the outset but
pays off big in the long run. You basically are teaching yourself how
to learn.
And go Minmatar race. I chose them because it said they were a Tribal
race. Tribes? In space? Sounded very familiar to me.
