I've got myself a HP PC, the only reason its a HP is that i couldn't afford to do a complete upgrade and the company i worked for did a home computing scheme.
Its a Intel D920 running stock @2.8, 1GB DDR2, along with a X600, this has done me fine for a while as i have both a PS3 and a 360 which was a cheaper option then to keep be upgrading the PC all the time. The only decent thing inside it is the Antec Neo Power 650W PSU which was given to me by the UK manager of Antec (you should see his PC its stupid esp as he never uses it)
The time has come for Age of Conon (bored of WOW now)but i know the FX card has no chance of playing it. So i was conserding getting a 9600 too keep me going, I read Toms guide to CPU and FX and it says as long as i have over 2.6 it should be alrite but that is on moden day Dual CPU's nothing on the old D's, i would have thought i would see a massive increase compared to what i have at the mo.
Any advice would be great as to which 9600 would be best, i would say i have a budget 100-150. I have alos thought on buying some new RAM i saw 2gb Corsair on Ebay for only 25 so i might invest in that depending on cash at end of month.
