I'm replacing my stock pci card with geforce 8800gt,should I take it out or try to run both, its a dimension e520 i'm also putting in 500 watt 35a power supply?
The reason to leave it in would be if you need to support another monitor output from it.
The reason to remove it would be if you don't, since it would otherwise just use up extra power and create more heat needlessly.
There should not be any "interference" issue or anything like that, plenty of people have ran multiple video cards it just takes an OS that can, drivers that are compatible (nVidia and ATI are the best alternatives), enough power and enough cooling.
