First of all I wouldn't spend so much money on a new mobo especially since there is a new socket coming out for intel. 1066 ram in most cases is just overclocked 800 so if its cheaper thats something to concider. Hardrive go with this one instead Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
GPU my personal favorite is EVGA 512-P3-N845-AR GeForce 8800GTS (G92).
PSU I would rather go with CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX 620W ATX12V v2.2 Since you want SLI (not big fan of SLI) you might need little bit extra juice. But it should do fine.

well I was looking to spend around 1500 dollars and adding all of the costs together it would come out around that much. The RAM was 150 bucks so i dont know if that is a good price or not. And I am unsure of SLI also because all I have seen are mixed views of it.  What would be the best GPU for about 300-375 dollars? and If not the 780i mobo what would you guys suggest for the best performance? Any more info that you need just ask?
