Acer boot up problems

Hello,
I have an acer aspire one zg5 series. when I turn it on it keeps going back to the boot menu. I have pressed f12 to go to the start up menu but it did not help. I cant get a boot disk because it doesnt have a drive for it and I have tried to make a usb for it but nothing is working. can anyone give me any easy suggestions

An external USB powered CD ROM only costs about £20 in the UK - much less in other countries - and will have more than just this one use. When you start up, does tapping the Function 8 key bring up the Advanced Boot menu, including Safe Mode?[/#000ff]
