I've got a QX9650 coming as a work perk and $1500 to build a complete system.  The only thing I don't need is a DVD burner (got a spare). It's a gaming rig (flight sims primarily) with an eye on future-proofing so I want SLI or Crossfire capability.

Here's what I've got planned (all prices are Newegg)

ENERMAX Uber Chakra ECA5001BL Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower
$125

MSI P7N Diamond  NVIDIA nForce 780i
$260

BFG Tech BFGE88512GTSE GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB
$255

Pwr Supply ZALMAN ZM750-HP 750W ATX12V V2.2 / EPS12V
$160

mushkin 2 x 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
$90

HITACHI Deskstar E7K500  500GB 7200 RPM  w/ NCQ
$140

ASUS VK222U Black 22" 2ms (GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor
$289

Microsoft Vista 64 SP1
$110

ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
$54

Total = $1484

might as well get a new kb if that one is crusty though, how about a comfort curve 2000 from microsoft ? Pretty sweet looking to go with your awesome rig !

I personally like the enermax pandora because it look OEM, and goes with the samsungs that have silver really well.
