Need help!!! Memory

I have 9 gb of Corsair Dominator 1600 memory. On my Asus P6T Deluxe it shows on post that it's only running at 1066. How do you change it to the proper settings in the bios? Eveything is on Auto. No OC yet...waiting on better cpu cooler.

get a cooler and change it all on the same day. until then your fine as far as speed goes. you wont notice a diference

Set everything to manual maybe linked/unlinked(not familiar with your BIOS) then set the freq yourself. When memory is on auto is it running at the manufacturers settings this is the true rated speed of the RAM. You want to run it at its EPP rated speed. The SPD tab in CPUz will show you what this is.
