I am trying to build my first pc after many decades of being a Mac user. It has been a very long and interesting few months of research to come up with what I think is the system that will suit my needs for as low a price as possible. I am still confused about what RAM to get. Does anyone have any suggestions about RAM or if you see anything that looks off I would love to know.

Here is what I have so far:
GIGABYTE GA-EX38-DS4 LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400

Seagate Barracuda ES.2 ST3250310NS 250GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

2 X DIAMOND Viper 3870PE4512SB Radeon HD 3870 512MB in Crossfire

XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler

I also already purchased a PC&C 750W PSU. Is this enough for this system?

Thanks for the help!

edit: I failed to mention that this system is strictly for gaming. I have a 1680 X 1050 Monitor.

Would G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) be ok for this system?

It'll do fine. The psu is fine too. Nothing wrong with psu overkill, if you don't mind the extra cost. Besides, you could use the extra headroom of that higher wattage psu for possible future upgrades.

Keep in mind 4870 arrives at the end of this month, and should offer significant performance gain over 3870. Even if you don't get it, it'll push 3870 price down.
