I'm running a desktop pc on a 3.5" IDE HDD, i connected my laptop 2.5" SATA HDD to my pc to copy some documents over but Win XP doesn't detect it however, in the BIOS menu it shows up!
What's the best way forward?

Does it appear on XP's drive management tool? Windows Key + R, type "diskmgmt.msc", press Enter.
