what to upgrade? - 100 extra bucks for my build

2gb ddr2 ocz platinum (maybe 2 more gbs but then id want 64 bit os)
250 gb hd (dont need or want any thing bigger)
asus hdmi micro atx motherboard
microfly mx6
mascool cpu cooler - already have this
g5 mouse
microsoft curve keyboard- feels great
800 watt psu xvs ultra

budget of 100 more
thinking about sound card or more ram

I'd say spend it on the RAM. Take it to 8GB, get Vista 64 and you can stop wondering what it'd be like. Just kidding. I would put it in RAM IF I already had a good sound card! Your $100 is best spent, IMO here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829132006

...then of course you'll need some decent speakers or headphones (but you've gotta start somewhere).

2gb of ram isn't enough, get 2 more. Page file usage off hdd will lag down your whole system and make it perform like a $600 machine.

Soundcard is not nearly as important. Get it only after you had enough ram.

MORE RAM! I would buy a 4gb kit of DDR2 800 if I were you. And of course, get vista 64.
