i keep tring to install pro tools 8.0 and it wont let me finish the install it keep telling me data error cyclic redundancy check how do i fix this?

Are you installing from a Cd or DVD disk ? CRC is usually a disk or drive issue.
Try copying the contents to your hard drive, then look for a setup file to click on.
