Format CD in Safe Mode

Have Vista Home Premium 32bit machine. Need to create a Kaspersky ISO rescue disk for another machine that does not have a CD drive. Is it possible to format then create and ISO CD in safe mode? Guidance sought

Pointless if the target machine does not have cd drive. Kapersky site offers a rescue USB media also, but also pointless unless target machine can boot from USB.

Much thanks for the timely reply. Just reviewed my post and incorrectly described the circumstance. The target machine does have a built-in CD drive. Hoping for for a followup reply.

You will need to select Safe Mode with Networking to give you internet access, then, go to the Kapersky Site, or Search for Kapersky rescue CD and download the files. You will also need a CD burner software like Imgburn to create the bootable ISO image.
