........or is something amiss on the 'Net today/tonight?

On both my laptop and desktop, pages aren't loading
properly, and nothing wants to open. I'm also having trouble
with my web-based email, Spamcop.

Anyone else having issues?

You could always check www.internettrafficreport.com and see if
there's massive packet loss or congestion do to some concerted DOS
attack somewhere.

When the Blaster worm first hit, you should have seen the charts.

Yeah, net connection was down most of the day, and when it was up it was
shitty. Also my private news server got knocked offline by something.
Saturday, almost the entire day, I was having 2-3 Cialis spams a minute
from 6am to around midnight or so, and they were getting past all my spam
filters (luckily Thunderbird's baysian filters catch on quick)

Different ISP, though. One ISP might be choking and the other not, perhaps
due to a bad router or a DoS in progress.

When this happens, try a traceroute (abbreviated to tracert under Windows):

the site and not you that's got the problem)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed. But then, I said that about
George Senior. ;)

I can't repeat what I said about George Senior- it
might very well be libelous or slanderous! (But then again,
it might very well be true.....) LOL

actually a lot of soldiers are perfectly in tune with the war in iraq. My
uncle is an officer in theArmy. presently stationed in fort drum NY, and is
going to Iraq in september. (Unless we pull out first... SUUUUUUURE)

He doesn't mind. He agrees with the reasoning for the invasion, and thinks
its better for the world. Many of the other soldeirs agree as well.

BTW Fun military fact: the US Army loses 800 soldiers a year stateside in
CAR ACCIDENTS that have nothign to do with work. In the first year in Iraq
we only lost slightly more troops than that number. Do you see people
raising huge flags over those soldeirs who die here? If you have, I've
certainly missed it....
