Is there a way to receive internet on router via wifi instead of direct Ethernet connection?

Which type ? They make routers for cellphone/mobile phone type internet.

You can receive a signal from another 802.11 router if both are WDS type.

Normally you'd use a wireless adapter to pick up a signal from an 802.11 router.

Or a USB stick-type-wireless cellphone adapter.

Its just a simple linksys broadband router. Theres one ethernet port for internet in, four to go out, and double antenna. i used to have one of the belkin adapters, but i lost it/ someone stole it. i am trying to get this to work because i'm real low on cash and cant afford another.

You need a wireless adapter, like you had before. Fortunately, they now cost peanuts, especially secondhand, because everyone is switching to laptops with built in wireless. Check your local electronics store bargain bin or flea market/garage sale.
