Cooling Radeon 4870

Hey i'm purchasing a ASUS EAH4870 DK/HTDI/1GD5 Radeon HD 4870 1GB found

and what i'm wondering is should i keep the stock HS or should i get a water block for it because i'v read that the stock HS gets decent temps under load and i would hate to put a water block on there and get higher temps...

Any suggestions?

this is the exact same card, but its $25 cheeper and it is made by sapphire, who are known for making their cards run a lot cooler. it also directs its hot air outside the case, unlike the asus version.

if you have already bought the graphics card, just go to AMD.com and download the latest drivers. with them you can manualy control the fan speed. basically, you dont need a water blodk.
