I have a single hard disc that was configured as a single disc JBOD when it was added to a RAID computer as extra storage.

That system is screwed but can I remove the single JBOD raided disc and read it okay in another system as a normal SATA disc?

Thanks

If it was really setup as a single disk JBOD then it's not actually in JBOD. Some RAID controllers just RAID0 or JBOD to indicate it as a single disk that's not part of any array.
Any controller will just recognise it as a typical standalone disk.
