I have this raid card:
Rosewill RC-200 PCI IDE (ATA) Silicon Image RAID (0/1/0+1/JBOD) Host Controller Card

I have four older hard drives, two pairs in two separate raid 1 arrays.

Sometimes when I boot, I get the error "Incomplete Raid". When I get to windows, both arrays show(two logical drives in windows) and everything works fine.

I enter the raid menu while booting, but the only options are to create or delete arrays, nothing diagnostic.

I'm worried that one of my drives might be failing. How can I trouble shoot? How do I know which drive is going bad?

The first thing i would check: all the cabling going to the hard drives and the controller. Especially with 4 drives you will have at least 8 cables to check. Try to resit them and make sure they are nice and tight. Then take it from there.

The drives may need another second or two to spin up. If there's a delay option in the BIOS, set it for a couple of seconds of delay.

No option for delay in bios.

I don't reboot that often but the last few times I have I haven't seen the error.
