does the 460w enermax fma iron 2 (comes with 6pcie pin) work well on the zotac 9600gt? can u recommend any other brand if not good. Must be cheap

That should be totally fine. Not sure, but it seems like Dual 22 amp 12v rails with 32 amp combined? Even an Antec earthwatts 380W (27 amp combined 12v) can power a 9600GT no problem, not sure on what those cost out your way.

Basically look for a name brand with 26 amps 12v, and a pci-e power cable, and you will be fine. 20-22 amp 12v may even do it, but if buying a new PSU, I'd go higher.

The 9600GT is rated at 95W (that's worst case). That's an 8A draw from the 12V line. Add another 8A or so for the CPU (quadcore) and 6A for other peripherials(if your system is fully loaded, IE 4HDDs and 2ODDs) and we're at about 22A. Any quality 400-450W PSU will do. The Enermax should be fine but if you can get a Corsair VX 450W ($60 on newegg.com/buy.com) or VX 550W I'd go with that. :)
