I am currently looking to put together a new computer for my birthday. I have actually spent quite a bit of time doing research and getting back up to speed since my last build a few years ago and wouldn't mind some looking over on my specs and a recommendation as to a suitable power supply. This is going to be for gaming and will be overclocked though I am not trying to break any records.

might want to consider getting a hard drive as well. How about a PC&P 610?

Opps thought I had already added that into the list. List is now updated with all components that will be inside the machine.

Coolermaster PSU's are listed as Tier 5 according to XtremeSystems, whom I personally trust. Tier 5 means...NOT RECOMMENDED.

If I were going with that setup, I'd go with the PC Power & Cooling 750 Silencer. It's Tier 1 and cheaper then that Coolermaster too.

Yeah that PC Power & Cooling 750 got great reviews and I definately like bringing the price down a bit. Thanks for that recommendation!

Instead of getting the WD HDD you have you should take a look at this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822148288

It has the same Specs. 500GB 7200rpm but it has a 32mb cache compared to the 16mb cache in the WD
