Hi, my computer won't boot anymore. I think it's a problem with the power supply.

When I try to turn it on, it starts up for a second and then turns off and it keeps on trying to turn on until I turn off the PSU manually. I don't know how to troubleshoot this so I'm looking for help. Any bit is greatly appreciated thanks.

Did you flash the bios? If so pull the cmos battery and reset the cmos then try to start it. Same thing happenned when i flashed bios to 1403.

Thanks for the reply.

I have no idea what the cmos battery is. So, I'm not sure if that;s really the problem? If you insist, what exactly should I do? This computer is pretty new btw.

What do you mean by this? The computer can't stay on for more than second.

The CMos battery is that little flat nickle coin size peice of metal sitting on your motherboard. It's a battery that you can replace. It sits near the PCI slot on your motherboard.
