I noticed some stuttering with my 3870 but it was only at higher resolutions running vista 32 bits en catalyst 8.4 or 8.5 I had and X1900XT and never had this issue, i get stuttering almost in every game, it’s weird I get 50fps then suddenly get 10 or lower for like 5 sec i don´t have this problem with XP soy is not hardware related i tried a fix on the AMD website but it persist the 8.5 driver just deliver better frame rate but does not solve de problem any idea of how to fix this problem i´m getting mad

Yeah that’s the hot fix the i tried but it doesn’t work I have tried everything I have tried overclocking the card, ram cpu and nothing I also tried underclocking but I experience this problem in Crisis NFS Carbon Assains creed and I haven tried others but I thing that I will get the same problem , but the only games that does play en very well is call o duty 4 it runs great
