Windows vista installation

Hello,
my hp dv2700 laptop came with a windows vista. I installed a windows 7 and it worked well.
Now I am trying to install windows vista cos i cant find all the drivers i need... but i get this error message.

"windows cannot copy files required for installation. make sure all files required are available and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070070"

my dvd is bad so am installing with a usb. I used command prompt to format and copy the windows vista files into the usb. the windows vista is genuine.

Please help!

Thanks, but I cant burn a dvd cos my dvd drive is bad

Solved... I ended up buying an external dvd drive and it worked fine...
I learnt however, that installing windows vista from a usb drive is a touch and go experience. it does not work for every body...
