I have been watching the forums looking to assemble first oc machine great stuff lots of ideas but i started seeing 3dmark06 results of all these oc machines .so i ran my gateway gt5662 just for the hell of it 9500 phenom 2400xt 3g and i posted a 1765 is this normal for a pre assembled machine or is there something wrong
Ouch but sound right, my 8400GS on my Dell M1330 laptop is about the same and just breaks 2023 if I OC it a little. You could OC yours a little and probably break 2000 also but not much higher. But you know thats not as bad in real world as you would think. I have been playing the orange box HL2 series on it and that runs like a scalded cat at full res. It can also run Crysis but all settings at low, so it doesn't look that good.
My 6000+ (stock and $111 at Fry's) and 8800GTS 512 (small OC) gets 12K.

Well phenoms rather stink, but what is killing you is your graphics card or chip or whatever is in there...if you upgrade that, you'll do a lot better.

you do realize that 2400 craphics card was like the entry level card of the previous generation.... thats your biggest problem... the cpu isn't as good as it could be but that gpu is just poor, bet it was cheap though
the gpu came stock i was just wondering if my score was about average for the parts installed .been thinking 3750 x 2 and new psu and then a mobo 790. running 2 monitors off this card also
