I'm gonna reformat my winxp in my 160GB hard drive and it's my first time to do it. Should I install these drivers?
My mobo is MSI G31M3 and i downloaded these drivers from MSI website.

I know I need these drivers

Realtek High Definition Audio Driver
Realtek PCI-E Ethernet Drivers

Not sure about these.

Intel INF Drivers for 3/4/5 Chipsets
Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver
Intel 945G Series VGA Drivers
Intel ICH7R/ICH8R SATA RAID Driver (For floppy driver) (I dont have a floppy drive so I probably don't need this)
Intel IAA RAID Edition for ICH7R

I know RAID has something to do with hard drives and I have 3 more hard drives (2) 500GB and a 1TB, I'm worried I might lost my files, sorry if this sound stupid... i'm a super noob. :??:

More about : install drivers

Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Yes, it will enable your on-board sound.
Realtek PCI-E Ethernet Drivers Yes, this is driver for your on-board internet connection.

Not sure about these.

Intel INF Drivers for 3/4/5 Chipsets Yes, this is the driver for your southbridge - allows use of your HDDs and USB.
Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver If you are not going to use RAID, you won't need this.
Intel 945G Series VGA Drivers Yes, if you are going to use your on-board video. No, if you have a discrete add-in video card, which will its own drivers on a CD.
Intel ICH7R/ICH8R SATA RAID Driver (For floppy driver) (I dont have a floppy drive so I probably don't need this) No, if you are not going to use RAID.
Intel IAA RAID Edition for ICH7R No, if your are not going to use RAID.

RAID is Redundant Array of Independent Disks, read about it in Wikipedia and in your motherboard manual. You can decide if it is useful for your system.
