So I just built a new PC and the XP I installed has a cruddy service pack, I need to get to 2, but the PC for some reason won't read USB flash drives, even though it reads other USB devices. And I've already tried burning Service Pack 2 to a disc. Can anyone help with either problem?

The USB drive may be bad.
Have you tried known good ones?
