Ok so i just built my new system and i'll list the specs that matter i got a p45 mushkin 2x2gb ddr2 800mhz and windows vista 64-bit. The problem is that when i run cpuz and i click on the memory tab the memory shows up as ddr3 and the speed an timings are off but when i click on the spd tab it show sup correctly, ill link it to the picture. So i' m assuming its a 64bit problem? but does anyone know if it will give me problems?

From what I understand and have experienced a lot of chipsets that can use either DDR2 or DDR3 show as having DDR3 regardless of what is installed. It is not normally a problem though.

Edit: Intel P/G3x, P/G4x, X38 and X48 chipsets do this a hell of a lot.

I have somehow the same problem,i have 4x1GB OCZ REAPRE DDR2 800 RAM with 4-4-4-15 timings and CPU-Z says i have a DDR3 RAM with 32-5-10-15 timings lol
But the BIOS shows it right and i dont have any problems with it, so dont worry :)
