If it's an oven-hardening polymer clay, you could use a little turpenoid
or turpentine to soften it up. A little dab'll do ya, and then you get
to knead it!
A pasta-maker might help here, as it's good at mucking things together.

Can you read my mind?!?!? It's either that, or you and I
have far more in common than either of us thought!
I put away the pasta machine just before coming online earlier!
The tiny little cookie cutters are still sitting here on the table. }
I put each hardened piece into small ziploc bags, added wee
amounts of water, sealed them up good, and crossed my fingers.
If I'm lucky, it'll be soft enough at lunchtime to work with. I won't
have much time, but we'll see.
I made goody bags for everybody, with light sticks, pinwheels,
and a few other assorted goodies like red, white & blue M&M's.
I *hope* to come home with a bunch of photos........assuming I
don't forget to grab my camera bag. LOL

I read the ConceptArts.org forums, a fantastic collection of great art,
both sculpture and pencil'n'pen'n'paint.
Everything I needed to know about life, I learned at Conce... no, that's
not true, but it's still a fantastic site.

Water would be the best bet for edibles, yeah. Good luck. Hmm, lunchtime
is 45 minutes past. Time to eat something.

Stepwife does that for holidays, but by tradition she has a "poop" theme,
with a little poem included with each bag of candy. So xmas has green and
red M&M's with a poem about elf poop, and March 17 will be some green candy
of some kind with a poem about leprechaun poop. Fellow employees are
collecting the little cards with the poems.

It was a hit! Ditto the goody bags, but you should have seen
all the FOOD! Oh my god they went CRAZY! There were *3*
different potato salads for gosh sakes, 2 kinds of ribs, pasta salad,
baked beans, and before all of that we had fried shrimp, egg rolls,
and spanikopitas (sp?)!
Two pies and watermelon for dessert. <burp>
