I have read several places that nvidia's next generation is coming out soon, but the "when" varies from 3 weeks to a few months. Does anybody know a release date yet? I didn't see one on their website.

Since Nvidia doesnt make video cards (they make the chipsets) you wont see that type of detail on their website.
But don't bother surfing over to the MFGRs websites (like Evga and XFX) either. You might get a few days notice prior to release day but nothing this early.
You're pretty much stuck with the guesses that sites like Fudzilla and Inquirer publish.

 

Both ATI and Nvidia have new video cards due out "shortly".

Expect a new round of rumors, hints and "leaked" details to surface during the 3-7 June Computex Trade Show Taipei.

Yeah there would be leaked benchmarks during Computex .... anyways Radeon releases its RV770 cards on June 15th.... Nvidia's GT200 cards on june 17th.

I thought that Nvidia was releasing their card before ATi?
The only thing I am waiting for is the price drop of the current cards.

I heard the new card was going to have 23 cores on it with 100 terabites of ram.
