Does anybody know much about dedicated power supplies such as reliability, quality, or development. I have seen three that catch my eye. I'm thinking about putting 2 ECS N8800GT's in SLI mode and was wondering if I would have to buy a whole new power supply or save some money by purchasing one of these. The three I have seen are the VisionTek dedicated PSU sold at bestbuy, the Thermaltake Itx PSU (http://www.provantage.com/thermaltake-a2422ru~7THER053.htm), and the Fortron Source BoosterX 3 (http://www.circotech.com/fortron-source-boosterx-3-dedicated-graphic-power-supply-unit.html).

I use a Thermaltake 250W dedicated PS for my 2900XT. It's not the best brand I suppose, but it has worked great for nearly a year powering one of the most power hungry cards out there. I'd assume they have the same reliability as the real PSes, so as long as you get a good brand you should be fine.

I recommend the following brands:

Seasonic
Corsair (HX series, TX series and the 450VX all built by Seasonic)
PC Power & Cooling - Silencer series is built by Seasonic

Antec Earthwatts - Built by Seasonic, however I don't hold Antec PSU in high regards anymore. They stumbled in the recent past and they seem to cut corners here and there. That's just my opinion though.

There is no such thing as a stupid question.
But there are stupid people.

I'd toss that Rosewill and just get a new psu,for a few more $$ than you would spend on one those dedicated units you could just get a real psu that will run all your hardware.
