Hey guys

I've got a 2yr old Maxtor 250gb Sata Harddrive in my machine
And when i'm playing music in iTunes, latest version, occasionally a song will slow down when it's playing
Almost like it's in slow motion
It only lasts for a couple seconds and then resumes at normal speeds

The drive has been bounced around a little, been shipped twice

I was wondering if this was a sign of the drive dying and wondering if I should go ahead and get a new drive

Thanks alot

umm, i would scan your computer for viruses first, also check your cpu utilization in task manager and see if it is running at 100%

a failing HDD really wouldn't give you slow motion sound
