Hey im building a computer on this case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163050
Do i need a modular power supply or not? What is "modular"?

I hope this thing will fit in the case

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CE, CB, TUV, FCC, CCC - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006

109.99 $

Does it have to be a “modular” power supply? If so then

$85, 720W modular

THANKS!!!

The 750TX is 160mm long (3.4" Height x 5.9" Width x 6.3" Depth).
The 650TX is 140mm long (3.4" Height x 5.9" Width x 5.5" Depth).
The ST50EF-SC is the same size as the 650TX, and there's a Newegg reviewer using it with that case.

In conclusion, the 650TX is guaranteed to fit. The 750TX might not fit because it's 0.8" longer. It might fit, I don't know.

If you don't really need 750W you might as well play it safe and save some cash too and get the 650TX.

If you do actually need 750W, get a bigger case with better cooling.
