just put a new build together yesterday with the gtx 280 ftw and i'm looking for help to get the last few parts.

i've been trying to put together the funds for the new computer for a few years now and have some best buy gift cards saved up. i'm hoping to get vista premium there to run media center on the xhd3000 i have coming, pick up bioshock and national treasure II on blueray, but if there is left over, i'd also like to get a new mouse (my current version is the the mouse that came with my best buy store bought build from '98 and it's time to get something with the wheel in it at the very least so i can zoom in and out of strategy games finally) and i'd also like to pick up a console like controller as i know when friends come over to game on bioshock and possibly grid, they aren't going to be fluent with the keyboard/mouse combo.

thanks for any ideas.

looks like this is a pretty good option for a mouse. newegg and best buy both carry it and it's on sale at best buy right now so the price is the same at both.

no such luck with the controller though. a pretty plain controller at best buy, that might work.

Try Saitek's Cyborg range.

And if you're not convinced with that Cyborg mouse, then get a Razer mouse. I use myself a Diamondback 3G, and I love it. I'd recommend a Diamondback 3G, DeathAdder, or maybe even a Lachesis if you're going all out.
