You can still use a multi-core CPU, but if you have a motherboard with multiple CPUs, you'll need the Pro version.

Ah yes to that to, and that may be what clyde2 was worried about. My answer was a bit brief :)

I'm still confused. My CPU is Athlon II X2 250 (3.0 GHz).

So will my Win XP Home see the 2 CPUs?

No it will see one CPU with 2 cores, which act like 2 CPUs.
