I have recently purchased OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2 6400 800 Mhz

I have a 975X platinum power up edition MSI board. Previous to this upgrade my system was running fine with the same memory but the 1Gb version. When I put the RAM in the computer will turn on, monitor will display nothing, then about 15 seconds later it will turn off, repeat. The board supports 800Mhz ram but the timing on the ram in 5-5-5-18 the tRAS settings in BIOS menu only go up to 15. I have flashed the BIOS to latest version.

Is there any way I could set the timings in BIOS to something other than 5-5-5-18 and the RAM still work?
Can this RAM even be used?
