Recurring network problem:

I have a linksys wusb12 connecting to a befw11s4 v3 wireless router and I have AOL broadband as my ISP, and you need to be connected to aol high speed in order for anything to be connected to the internet. My ability to use AIM and KAZAA lite Resurrection are limited, as the availaility is on and off. as of now, conection to any outside programs of the like are not goign through, but aol is working fine. i have had the ability to connectbefore,but sometimes, after problems with the router, or reinstallign AOL, it wont work. i havent found a solution to MAKE it work yet, but thats because i dont kno where theproblem lies. My parents dont change my access controls, i dont change any settings, it jsut sometimes works, orsoemtiems doesnt. generally comesi n on and off periods of a month or so. I do believe its tied to AOL trying to play mini-zone alarm on my PC and not allow any outside connections to be made, but you woudl thinkt hat they have AIM included in the "allowed" column, correct?
i dont run zonealarm, or anythign of thelike, and i dont know what i ever did to fix it, i think it jsut happens on its own.
anyone else having these problems, or know how to fix it?
