Looking to O/C a Gateway Q6600
Here are the specs - Quad core Q6600 With VT @ 2.4 GHz
- 1066 front bus
- Intel G965 chipset
- 1024 Mb pc2-5300 667MHz memory { expandable
to 8GB }
- 400 watt power supply
- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3000
Looking to Safely O/C without a great deal of expense. Wanting just a little bump to say 3.0 GHz. Remember I've never done this so a step by step guide would be appreciated. I am looking at putting in 4GB OCZ pc6400 800 MHz. Am I heading in the right direction? Where can I get an O/C tool to monitor my progress?
