You never told us your budget! lol

Problems: Never heard of the PSU. Not a good idea to buy a no name PSU. Buy Corsair, Antec, Seasonic etc.

Apevia makes piece of crap PSUs that melt. From HardOCP: "The efficiency has plummeted to between 65.37% and 66.60% while exhaust temperatures have jumped to between 67c-68c. At this point the unit has also begun to melt and smell horrible. It should be noted that I stopped testing on the first Apevia unit we had after Test #3 because the unit began to melt." (Source)

You are ok otherwise I think. I would really think about using an Apevia case though.

Actually kill two birds with one stone: Buy this case:Antec Sonta III

Is this a gaming machine? If it is, upgrade at least to HD 3850 512MB (it's about twice as fast as the 8600GT), or to an 8800GT (even faster).
How much are you paying for the 8600GT?

Edit: good idea about the Sonata. Also, make sure your hdd and dvd are SATA.

8800GT I wouldn't go any lower than that at current pricings. Good point about the case PSU combo (I second that).

Excellent choice, considering the limited budget. That gives you 30A combined, enough to power your system even if you put a 9600GT or 8800GT there instead of the 8600GT.
