GPU advice (buying)

Hello everyone,
I haven't built a new rig in almost 3 years, so I'm a little out of the swing of things. Anyway, I have been saving and have enough to buy any GPU I want. Can anyone help me make a good decision? I am looking to build the best machine that I can so I was looking to buy the upcoming GTX 280 the moment it was released. Words of wisdom anyone?

The G280 is rumored to give the performance of 2 Ultras. Itll be hot. Itll run around 234 TDP watts. Its a monster card thatll run Crysis at 19x12 24fps ultra high. These are all rumors, but "good" guesses
