Chipset Resets?

Hello, everyone! I'm somewhat new doing these sort of things but here it goes....

I play many games (Threw the program "Steam")
and for many of them it says that I need to get the latest Drivers (In this case Chipset thing).
I found out what the latest thing i needed. What I need to know is, Will it remove any of my Current files?

It may remove the current chipset but other than that your fine.

It won't touch your files, it only updates the drivers for the hardware. Driver updates do not touch any other files.
