I am trying to access my Ext HDD (1TB) that is connected to my desktop in my home office from my laptop. Sharing is turned on, I can exchange files and print via the network. However, whenever I try to access the HDD I get the error message:

"not enough server storage is available to process this command"

I have the IRPStackSize up to 50 on both machines. Both machines are WinXP the laptop is Pro, the desktop is Home.

HELP!!! ... please.

I'm not really sure, but maybe your problem has something to do with the fact you're using home on your desktop?

Upgrade Symantec or Norton Antivirus.
It's not a problem any more.

You may want to set the PagedPoolSize to 0 which can be found here HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
