Hey everyone,

I picked up a Zotac GeForce 9800GT the other day, and got it all set up. However, I'm a bit concerned about the Memory clock.
I'm using ATI tools to keep tabs on the heat and clock speeds. ATI Tools is reporting the memory clock is a flat 1GHz when it should be 2GHz. GPU is as advertised 725MHz. Any idea what could be happening?

Essentially the same card here if you're curious.

Just FYI, I have the latest drivers from Nvidia's site installed, along with the latest nForce chip set drivers.

Memory is rated in DDR(double data rate) 1000 is in fact 1000 x 2 = 2000. your good.

Your ok. The Mem clock doesn't show the accual speed of the mem look here http://www.zotac.com/index.php?opt [...] Itemid=283

If it regesters @ 1ghz it's accually 2ghz get it. my clock speed on my 8800gts (G92) is @ 972 mhz, but it's accual clock is 1970mhz. Download rivatuner and view your graphics card spec on it. you'll then will notice.
