Hello,
I'm trying to upgrade some hardware on my xps, but it seems that my psu doesn't wield enough juice to sustain the new hardware. Does anyone know of a psu that i can get? Dell doesn't offer an upgrade for my machine, and finding one that will fit a btx case is rather difficult. I'm looking for one that has at least a rating of 26a to the rails. Thanks for you input in advance.

PCPower is the place to check, they do direct replacement for Dell PSU's.
I your Dell takes a normal PSU, PCPower is still the place to get a PSU from.
NewEgg currently has a few good deals on PCPower.

If anyone still cares (ha-ha!) :) I just completed a power supply and graphics card upgrade on my Dell XPS 410. My XPS 410 is now completely maxxxed-out, finally! It only took me 10 years! For the PSU I installed a 525W Dell Model: N525E-00. This Dell PSU slid right-in, locked in place and four screws secured it. The cable lengths on this PSU were perfect. This PSU makes for an excellent upgrade to power an XPS 410. It includes (two) 6-pin PCI-E connectors to power modern graphics cards. I simply had to add (two) 6-pin to 8-pin PCI-E converter cables to power my EVGA GTX-1080 FTW.

Dell XPS 410
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
PSU - Dell N525E-00 (rated 525 watts)
CPU - Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6800 2.93GHz (Kentsfield). Extra inline cooling fan added, but not needed.
Hard Drives - (2) Intel X25E 64GB SLC SSD (running in Raid 0 for 120GB)
Graphics card or GPU - EVGA GTX-1080 FTW
CD/DVD burner - ATAPI iHAS424 B (Lightscribe)
Bluray/CD/DVD burner - Philips BD-RE BDD1001
Dell Media Card Reader - Dell Model TH661
Standard POS Floppy Drive

RAM - 8GB Samsung
Speakers - Tapco S5 Powered Studio Monitors w/ Klipsch powered subwoofer
Monitor - Dell UltraSharp U3415W Wide Curved LED 34"
Keyboard - Perixx Periboard-311 (my old favorite)
Mouse - Dell 0MY897
