I just Googled it, G-monsters is a game where you breed and battle monsters. Seems a lot like the pokemon games.

It shouldn't be a problem at all, a 3.1Ghz Dual Core will tackle pretty much every game no problem, currently it's GPUs that are the problem.

I thought that you meant that. To say for sure, no one knows. We will have to wait and see the benches of the different cards on different boards, games drivers and CPUs.
So as usual, time will tell. Wait until everything is out and settled before making any changes to your computer.

^I Knew IT!!!!!!!!!!!^, anyway, who knows yet, we need to see some real benchmarks., At the lower resolutions though, like 12x10, yes the C2D will be a bottleneck.

At 1920x1200 the GPU will be a much bigger bottleneck than a CPU. Just wait for the benches, for all we know the GTX 280/60's will be another 9800 disaster.

Sure it'll bottleneck it, but what doesn't bottleneck something else in some way? The thing is you shift the bottlenecks from application to application , game to game and setting to setting; where one is CPU centric, the other is GPU centrix, another may be hampered by memory, etc.

As for saying whether the GTX-s are as CPU-dependant as current cards or the HD4K will require seeing them first.

i believe it will be a bottleneck at 3.1ghz even my q6600 @ 3.0ghz will be a bottleneck. just overclock ur cpu to 3.4ghz and shouldnt be any real bottleneck. i could be wrong but as of now alot of cpu r bottlenecking 9800gx2.
But dont worry it shouldnt be to much of a bottleneck.

chill the bottleneck isnt much maybe 2-3fps most so relax or just go buy out a e8500 oc it to 4.0ghz.

Yes you would be dead...but not because of any bottleneck...but because you won't have any money left to eat after buying these cards............... unless of course you're planning to marry Princess Caroline of Monaco... or are sleeping with Prince Albert.
