I have several questions concerning the following issues:
1. What is the best way to set up a VPN-Server on a W2003 Server !?
(costfree - Windows VPN Server?)
2. Is it possible to connect from x-different pc's (XP) simultaneously via VPN on the in number 1 established Server !? (precondition - x terminal sessions licenses on Windows bought)
3. How can I configure the server to work how I ve described before.
I do not know of open source IPSec VPN solution for Windows but here is GPL licensed SSL VPN solution for Windows: www.openvpn.org. Read there on what SSL VPN can do and cannot do.
What GPL license means is that it is open source and you are free to use as it is but to make modifications or to incorporate into your product, you must obtain commercial license.
To answer question 2, you don't need terminal license to use SSL VPN. Clients will connect to the VPN concentrator with the browser. And yes, different clients can simultaneously connect to the same server.
For 3, read the site on configuring openvpn on Windows server.
