Well, I'm thinking about overclocking my processor for first time so i have a very old computer that needs overclocking.

Currectly, its running at 2.8 Ghz (Stock speed) and on socket 478 so its different to other processor thats on socket 775 or 1336 so this makes all guides pretty useless.

I have a P4I65G mobo and temp is 20'C and i would look forward to overclocking 2.8 to 3.0 so tell me how and give me full guide.
What its max temp before it dies.

Cheers :) if u need any more informations and please give me.

The general principles in the overclocking guides still apply to your CPU/system. That CPU is probably not very OCable -- what are you trying to achieve with it? Your i7 will be much more overclockable.

I just want make 3.0Ghz and I hope it will increase my fps on RTCW game (currectly at 20-60) and it will feed more information faster into my graphic controller called 82865G Intel :(

OCing the CPU to 3.0GHz will make no visible difference in your game. You need to buy a graphics card for the computer -- the builtin Intel 82865G graphics hardware is very slow.
