Compaq LTE 5300 Clockspeed

Believe it or not I need to slow down the clockspeed to run some radio service software. The software is run in MSDOS but the PC is too fast for the software to work.

I know this is 2009 and there must be some program that will work in Vista or something. Well Motorola hasn't updated their software in years.

So anyway if anyoe can help slow the processor speed downn I would appreciate all help.

Check the BIOS of your computer. Most aftermarket motherboards allow one to adjust the clock speed of the CPU there. Unfortunately, most prebuilt computers & notebooks don't have this enabled in their BIOSs, but it doesn't hurt to check.
