Hey i dont know a lot about hardware compatibilities but i have this ram right now

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227189

and i am looking at this ram

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?nm_mc=AFC-TechBargains&cm_mmc=AFC-TechBargains-_-NA-_-NA-_-NA&Item=N82E16820227078

which seems like a good deal. i have 4 slots so i could put them all in but i think there might be issues running ddr2 800 and ddr2 667 on the same motherboard.

too bad i cant find the ram i have for that much.

i dont know if there is any issues running ddr2 800 and ddr2 667 ram on the same machine. also that they are different voltages etc.

the gold one you posted seemed good (but out of stock). the platinum maybe a little steep in price.

does it matter that they have different timings?

What do you have right now, DDR2 667 or 800? If you slready have 800, you don't want to add a 667 to go with it.

i have ddr2 800. ok then i will forget about the $15 ddr2 667 2gb set.

i dont specifically need it for anything so i can afford to wait and keep my eyes open for other deals. thanks for the help.
