Well i almost finished building my computer and tried to get into the bios. My problem is that when i power on, nothing except the: 'Digital - Power Saving Mode' appear on the screen (and the light is orange when it should be blue).
All the fans are spinning and it seems to be ok on that part... Tried moving the ram around to see if anything would work but its the same.

Here are my specs:

LG L196WTY-BF (L196WTY-BF)
Asus P5K (P5K)
Intel Xeon E3110 (BX80570E3110)
Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2X2GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-12 (BL2KIT25664AL804)
OCZ GameXStream 700W (OCZ700GXSSLI)
XFX GeForce 8800GT (PVT88PYHF4)

The cpu is a 45nm, so my motherboard could be the problem, since it may need a bios update. But well, i thought it would still post. Could the cpu be the problem?

Very well could be. The motherboard supports that CPU since bios update 0902. Current is 1006.

However, you should still get something on the screen. Most motherboards will still display a logo on the screen w/out CPU.

You might have a video problem also. Might want to try another video card if you want one laying around.

Hmm well i have this motherboard since like december...so it might have an older bios that doesnt support it...
Since i don't have another video card and that this motherboard doesnt have onboard video...my only way to find out is to buy a cheap cpu and try it out?

After spending many hours looking at different forums, i think i found whats wrong.
It seem that my motherboard (which have a VIA chipset) doesnt recognize PCIE 2.0 cards, and that i will need to flash the card with a fix (provided by XFX) that will make it work. So i will try this in the next week and tell you if it work. thanks :)
