C:\\windows\\system32\\explorer exe application cannot load
Last response: in Windows XP
didn't work for me. it still pop up "choose the program you want to open the appliaiton" box....when i type in the "regedit" under the file-new task....and my computer don't even have a antivirus installed, 'cause i never had any virus problem untill now... - -!
now the problem is, beside loading the operation system...all the other applications are been locked! can't even download and run a scan........ T T someone please help!!

then i think i need to further explain my problem.
i had this message when i turn on my comuter " c:\windows\system32\explore.exe application cannot load" today and basically i can't open any application or program in my computer, it would always pop up a box ask me to choose a program to open such application. even when i'm doing "regedit". i think it's a virus infection, but i don't have a way to install and scan my pc since everhing seemed all locked. i also tried to do it under safe mode.....same result T T please help...
